I have grub on a cd (super_grub_disk_0.9725.iso).   I deleted the entries in the file menu.lst after renaming it in Linux and rebooted the computer with the CD drive as the first boot device.   The only thing on the screen is grub with a flashing cursor.   I have MS Windows XP pro as well as Linux 6.10 on the machine.   I tried unsuccessfully to upgrade Linux to the latest version.Start Free Trial
