How can I install flash in firefox 3.5 on Ubuntu 9.04 x64?

Hello, I have some problems with installing flash player in firefox 3.5 under my system. I found on one website that is enough to download
"http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/libflashplayer-10.0.d20.7.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz "

and copy libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

I copied that file to this folder, as well as many other and flash still doesn't work :/ Here are folders where file exist:

/usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/home/unknown/.mozilla/firefox-3.5/aej8vovf.default/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/opt/firefox/libflashplayer.so

Any ideas what more can I do??

Use synaptic to install flash from the ubuntu repositories.

This is the first thing what I've tried, as well as removing && installing existing firefox installation, but still no result. In Opera browser, flash works ok.

Remove what you have already installed, so start from a clean system and just install this:

sudo apt-get ubuntu-restricted-extras

You will then have flash and other multimedia plugins.

I had that before, so I made: sudo apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree flashplugin-installer ubuntu-restricted-extras,
after:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras, still in FF doens't work (opera fine)

Sorry I missed the version! You are speaking about Firefeox 3.5 but this is not supported by ubuntu 9.04, so maybe flash is still not provided!

As far as I know 3.5 has been added to the repositories.

Yes, FF 3.5 is now in official repositories. I think the problem is about x64 version of FF.
As I mention before, in Opera flash works as it should, so I'm almost sure that the problem is with firefox (maybe not in right directories I got that plugin?)

But did you install FF vie the package manager or did you install it manually? If manually you may have put the module in the wrong directory, or used the wrong module, and if you used the package manager it should be automatically correctly installed.

FF 3.5 is NOT in the official 9.04 repositories. It can't be.

This means that it is not an upgrade of firefox, but a new product.

Sorry, I've tried everything, but none of them was working. What I made to run flash under this configuration was.... install x86 version of Ubuntu...
Thanks for your time, but I think no one of you got x64 version, and can't solve that problem.

I've got it working on kubuntu 64, FF-5.2, and flash, all installed directly with synaptic from the ubuntu repositories
