is it possible to run iTunes on the Linux operating system?  I want to be able to download Audible books

iTunes doesn't come in a Linux version, but you might try some other software, like "songbird":

Why only a "C" Grade? Please read the EE guidelines, C grades are only allowed if the answer is only partly correct and if you (the asker), has posted back and asked for more clarification and you didn't get that.
