Dummy Print Queue

How do you set up a dummy printer?

I have an oscilloscope (Tek TDS3034B) that will quite happily print a TIF file to its internal floppy drive or a network printer.
But floppies are such a pfaff and I'd like to bring the process into the 21stC.

So, what I want to do is set up a network print queue that just keeps the TIF files in a directory (Visible through Samba) rather than print them out.

I already have a couple of printer and these are all socket://<printer_name>:9100 and the 'scope tries to print to them but they know nothing about TIF format.

I'm using mdk9.2 and CUPS.

Any ideas?
