Yes, it looks as if you did download a driver files that can be used for the standard lpd printing but are not sufficient for printing with CUPS as is standardly installed with SUSE & likely, to be expected in your Yast printer setup. I'd like to refer you to this forum where a questioner had a very similiar task.

On that site you'll be referred to a link where you can download a Z600driver with all files required for setup with CUPS. Don't be confused that the questioner running slackware, since the downloadable file is in Tar.gz
format & is installable under any Linux console. Following instructions of the recommending user the driver installation should end up in succes.

What version of suse are you using? Does it use cups or lpd?
