I would like to be able to centrally preview printer output before authorisation

I would like to centrally preview print jobs (actual output) before they are released to the printer(s).
It would be preferential to preview the output on a windows XP PC, and also preferable in a web browser (no client software required), but this is not absolutely necessary.
I am using Cups installed on SME server 7.3, and the system is fully up to date.
I have setup a PDF printer that stores the output in an ibay, so I can review it this way but it is not ideal.
I would prefer to use a free solution.

If this is not possible anybody know of a solution that I can install on a linux system to manage printing (as above) through windows clients to networked HP B/W and colour printers?

Thank you
