vi veteran starting over with emacs.....

so. now you know it. i use vi.

but i need to use emacs since i'm doing a lot of changes in html forms lately.

my only problem: how do i mark, copy, cut and paste!!!!????

if your answer would be use CTRL-SPACE to mark and META-W to copy and CTRL-Y to paste forget to state it as an answer...

my problem is: i seem not to be able to set two marks (should the text between a sequence of CTRL-SPACE be highlighted? i can't see this reaction...).

this should be a very easy one. but the shitty 30-page book i have here to help me explains everything about emacs expect for this.....
