I want to be able to connect to that box via the internet and then be able to access the rest of the computers on my home network as if all the communication was originally coming from my linux gateway. But really it would be coming from a remote windows PC that simply connects to my linux box and the linux box forwards all IP requests for that network to the appropriate computers.
Note: I have already done something similiar to this with PPP. I created a PPP server on the linux gateway box that will answer when the phone rings. And then my remote windows machine just uses dial up networking to register itself on my home network. The only difference now is that I want to be able to connect to my linux box via the internet (ethernet card) intead of dialing up to the modem.
Thanks!
