Browse All TopicsHi there!
I want to setup a mail server in my company. This mail server will not be used to send/receicve mail to/from Internet. It's only used internal company. To be precise, only 6 group members can use this mail server to communicate with each other.
So, I think I have no need to care the DNS. (Am I right?)
I have a RHL 8.0 (fully installed), then upgrades the sendmail to 8.12.8-5.80.
It is used to be mail server. It uses the fixed IP-->172.16.166.6. I want to let those 6 group members can freely use her or his OS/MUA to send mail to others. For example, user A who uses Windows Outlook can send mail to other 5 group members by mailing to-->
cvs@[172.16.166.6] (I guess) ("cvs" is the alias that I create for these 6 group members)
(Of course, this does not work.)

At present, those 6 group members have to login the mail server first, then they can mail to each other. It's very inconvenient. So, does any body have experience about this? Please help me!!
