Okay, I have a big fat juicey 60GIG hard drive that I finally sprung for but linux's
loader wont load linux automatically I have to put in a disk.

I went into fdisk to see if i had the right partition set to be bootable, and I got this output:

fdisk
Using /dev/hda as default device!

The number of cylinders for this disk is set to 4111.
there is nothing wrong with that, but this is larger than 1024,
and could in certain setups cause problems with:
1) software that runs a boot time (e.g., LILO)
2) booting and partitioning software from other OSs
(e.g., DOS FDISK, OS/2 FDISK)

Other possible problems include I installed WinNT on the same drive (but on a DIFERENT partition and BEFORE Linux Redhat 6.0)

okay I know 6.0 is old but I just didnt feel like installing a new operating system again
