1 .i want to configure internal modem on redhat linux 9.0
my system configuration is
System Manufacture - Intel
System Model - D845GBV2
System Type - X86-based PC
Internal Modem Name -SoftK56 Data Fax Voice Speakerphone CARP
How should i go about ?........
2. Right now i am using internet connection provided by our cable operator via LAN on windows 2000 server
They have installed PPPoe protocol so that it can be connected to the net
i am trying to set up internet connection via the LAN connection
what protocol i have to install & where i can get that protocol
what r the steps involved for configuring cable connection ?..............
