320meg RAM

Linux Box
Redhat 9.0
Gnome
Setup using the wizard, chose "Workstation" Setup plus added windows file server package

Linux computer got on the internet without any additional settings.

So here is my plan...
Want to use this linux machine to start testing linux in a desktop environment.  I want to put my P2P programs on the linux machine and then be able to transfer files to my windows file shares.

Right now the linux box has an IP Address of 127.... localhost.localdomain
It gets on the internet through my router.  192.168.0.1 It picked that up automatically.

How should I go about adding the machine to my domain?  Remeber my newbie status.

thanks
