Reoving Programs under Linux?

I am using SUSE linux and I want to remove Forefox 1.05 and install 1.06 WITHOUT upgrading. I just want to REMOVE the version 1.05 and do a CLEAN install of the version 1.06. How can I do that under Linux since there is no Add/Remove Programs like in Windows???

****THIS IS URGENT, SINCE VERSION 1.05 WAS HACKED AND ITS VERY INSECURE****

I just want to REMOVE 1.05 and do a CLEAN install of 1.06...

Installing is easy. But what about REMOVING programs under linux or SUSE?
