netgear wireless wg111 usb internet adapter working on linux fedora

Asked by michaelbuddy in Linux, Fedora Linux, Linux Distributions

Tags: wg111, linux, netgear, fedora, usb

I bought a netgear USB adapter, that I want to use on my newly configured fedora computer. I've been reading up, but since I'm new to linux, a lot of the commands aren't explained within a certain context.

does anyone have experience with this and where I might go.

A google search took me to a tool recommended by someone else called ndiswrapper located at sourceforge.

haven't figured it out yet, but while I"m messing with it, I wanted to post this question in case anyone knows the best route to get this going.

thanks!Start Free Trial
