Question
Linux OS has crashed and won't re-start
Running small office server on Linux (not sure of version but about 3 years old and branded as SuSe).
Major network failure yesterday prompted a re-start and the OS won't finish loading. Can't even get the log in screen.
The boot log is hanging on one of the Network Interface set ups for about 2 mins then gets stuck for good on the line that says something like "Boot Hardware scan". The cursor just flashes and there it stays. Can you help?
