Setting up email piping, shared server

Asked by Denisvt in Linux

Hi,
We have particular situations where we need an incoming email address to be not delivered to a pop account, but fed to a program through piping. (Helpdesk and automated docs sending are some applications). While we can easily do that on our dedicated servers, I wondered if we could do it on a shared account on a mutualized server (situtations where we cannot access the whole server /var/ directory), and if in turn we could somehow offer it to our own clients on our servers running Plesk and Linux Fedora. Providing them an SSH access could be allowed, but to their own dir only obviously. Thanks.Start Free Trial
