Question
tomcat installation
i've installed tomcat set the variables all that. I ran startup.sh and it says its using the correct variables, if I go to localhost:8080 on the local comp I can get the tomcat test page. I can't get to that tomcat page using anoter computer with the linux box's ip. Is this because apache is not installed? I ask because the package I instaleld was named apache-tomcat so I thought it was both packages in one? If apache was not installed but tomcat was would I be able to view the tomcat test page locally as I'm able to do now? If thats the case how would i install apache to make it work with my exisiting tomcat installation?
