I've got a spare laptop that has Fedora on it. The laptop originally came with Windows XP but during my student years, I was converted over to Linux and I've ran Fedora on the laptop since. Now I'm giving the laptop to a family member and they want Windows XP on it for there kids etc.
I put my Windows XP install disc on the CD drive and restarted the computer, but after I press any key to boot form CD, nothing is happening - its like the CD is not getting booted and screen just goes black with the CD drive stopping after about 15 mins...
I want to know how to install Windows, since the boot is not possible!
Maybe there is another method?
