The problem is that most of these people use Windows computers. How shall I format the drive, FAT32? I heard that you can't have partitions more than 32GB, but that doesn't sound practical since most of my folders are bigger than 32GB. One of my folders are 150GB. Also, how should I handle security? Should I just prompt them for a user/password for each folder? Or is it posible to set up users in Linux to have access to only certain folders (like NTFS). Is this what CHMOD is? I'm thinking of using Gentoo or Ubuntu as my Linux server. Please help, I'm trying to get away from Windows server since it's expensive and crashes all the time. I'm leaving the dark side! Thanks in advance for any help and experiences.
