Fedora Core 5, SSH Securities HELP!

Fedora Core 5, SSH issues.

I have my home Server up and running for a few months now, and have noticed that it is repeatedly attacked by outsiders on port 22, using NX and SSH.

I left those ports open so I can remote in from work or other places on this planet to administer, remotely do things, etc...

I am wondering, if it is possible to set SSH and NX so that if a person attempted to login from an IP, and failed, then that IP be blocked for about an hour or so. This would actually stop all those hammering and once the 'attacker' see that they can no longer attack my system by constantly attempting to log in as Root, they'd move on to someone else....

Running Fedora Core 5, with the Free NX Server. SSH open on Port 22.Start Free Trial
