Tracking disk reads/writes in real time

Asked by timdr in Linux

I'm trying to track down disk I/O issues, and what would really help this process is being able to know what files are being read and written at any given time. Is there a way to track this on a operation system level? Ideally I would like to see all disk access in real time. If that is possible. Any thoughts?Start Free Trial
