Zones: Linux, Fedora Linux

Hi Guys,

I am very new to linux and I dont really know how to get the networking side of things working. I have installed the Fedora 7 DVD (downloaded) and it seems to have installed Samba, (I make this assumption based on when I click system at the top, then Administration, then Server Settings and Samba settings is an option).

Based on this, what do I need to do to get file shaing working? I have a share on my XP machine and would like to see the share on my fedora box and vice versa?

I thought it was something like typing smb://marsh/data in the command?

Also I have trouble mounting too, I need to have some mapped drives on my XP machine to the fedora box?

Thanks if you can help (man, I waffle!)
