error while loading shared libraries: libjli.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

dear EE,

i have install java jre1.6.0_03 on open suse 10.2_64bit i define the PATH variable such that
$echo $PATH
/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/opt/kde3/sbin:/opt/gnome/sbin:/root/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/bin:/usr/java/jre1.6.0_03/bin:/usr/games:/opt/gnome/bin:/opt/kde3/bin:/usr/lib/mit/bin:/usr/lib/mit/sbin

but it seem my application can't find libjli.so which exist in /usr/java/jre1.6.0_03/lib/amd64/jli/libjli.so
