Linux NIC Bond issue's

We have our NIC's teamed on our Linux server's with balance-alb. We see alot of ARP traffic from the linux machines plus we see with wireshark that there is duplicate use of the IP's. According to the instruction's we have there is nothing to configure on the swicthes but it's hard to think that when I see all the extra ARP traffic and Duplicate IP errors.
