what are kernel source, header and objects?

Asked by srividyarao in Linux, Unix Operating Systems

I am new to Linux.  I want to know what are kernel sources, kernel headers and kernel objects.  How are they linked with the NIC driver when installed.  Because when I try to instal the driver it asks me to specify the KSRC and KOBJ.

Is there a good link to these information?
