Did linux system need to install an anti-virus software?

Asked by fsze88 in Linux, Microsoft Server, Server Anti-Virus

Dear Sir/Madam

As before, I am using Windows 2000 Server as a database server with oracle 10g. So I installed anti-virus software(Kaspersky ) with it.
But, now I changed database server to be linux system(centOS) with oracle 11g.
Did I need to install an anti-virus software with linux system(centOS) ?

Thanks
