Editing with a shell script a file

Hi I would like to create a shell script that ask the user to input their smtp servername and then it would update file /etc/mail/sendmail.mc in line:

define(`SMART_HOST',`smtp.somewheresmtp.com')

The script would need to be in plain shell script and it would replace smtp.somewheresmtp.com for myispsmtpserver.com
