The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Tags: What system to install for best server performance? Centos? Freebsd? Apache? lighttpd?

Something tells me that Im going to format my two servers. After facing one big problem :)

I have a traffic of more then 100k users every day and its always growing. The problem is that Im not a linux expert and I dont know how to install an effective linux system.
The guy how was helping me with installing and configuring the system always put a directadmin that comes with mysql + apache on a centos operation system.

I hearted about alternative for apache from my good friend& lighttpd
He said that this is way better then apache.

Im always wondering what google or youtube use? Something tells me its not apache and not directadmin with centos&

But I dont know who to believe, the expert who installed my system say that directadmin is the best because its puts together the best apache and mysql versions. But now I feel that hes theory works maybe for little websites, but for medium websites like mine, its dont.

I reinstall my servers two times this year. I hate this procedure& you dont even imagine how painful this for me&
So please help me only if you really now what you talking about.
