Change Disk Write Caching in Linux

I am trying to enable write caching for disk in CentOS 5.2.  Drive has scsi controller and sdparm utility allows for the change but upone reboot my changes are reverted and the default values are used.  Below is the command I issued to enable write caching.

# sdparm --set WCE=1 --save /dev/sg0
    /dev/sg0: SEAGATE   ST3450856SS       HS09
# sdparm --get WCE /dev/sg0
    /dev/sg0: SEAGATE   ST3450856SS       HS09
WCE         1  [cha: y, def:  0, sav:  1]

After reboot values are back to default....
# sdparm /dev/sg0
    /dev/sg0: SEAGATE   ST3450856SS       HS09
Read write error recovery mode page:
  AWRE        1  [cha: y, def:  1, sav:  1]
  ARRE        1  [cha: y, def:  1, sav:  1]
  PER         0  [cha: y, def:  0, sav:  0]
Caching (SBC) mode page:
  WCE         0  [cha: y, def:  0, sav:  0]
  RCD         0  [cha: y, def:  0, sav:  0]
