To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. What i did to my DNS!!!!!!

Hi,

Iam newbie to linux today i made two Primary dns server and did somthing which i really dont know :-( they are working well but i wanana know what exactly i did and what its means

1.www.rhce.com=192.168.1.15

2.www.example.com=192.168.1.50

then in both domain"s named.conf i put this

---for www.rhce.com
forwarders { 192.168.1.50; };
forward only;

---for www.example.com
forwarders { 192.168.1.15; };
forward only;

Then i made both of them each others slaves too both getting all zones of each others.

Now i expect from you guys to tell me what exactly happens after doing above things iam an student of RHCE too so is it "ENOUGH" for rhce exam? :-)

Pls explain me detail so that i can understand above stuff properly i read my 253 book but i...dont get it properly.My server is rhel5.
