I'd like to know the best way to install PHP with all common and useful attributes on my Fedora 11 server. The main pre-requisite I have is that it must also use UnixODBC.
Would you recommend using yum to do this? Or would it be better to use tarballs and make install?
Apache server is installed and running great so just need to get PHP running on it nicely now. If you need to know file paths for stuff (e.g. /usr/ or /etc/), I'm obviously more than happy to provide them to you as well.
Thanks as always.
