Browse All TopicsI have read many threads on this but have not found a simple sollution or in fact any sollution that works with my setup. In windows I can have dual screen and using svideo cable can watch movies on my laptop onto my TV. In Ubuntu jaunty 9.04 I can not make this work. I have posted a snippet below with my xorg.conf file so you can see my settings. My computer is a standard Acer Extensa 5620 laptop with 3 gig or ram.
I looked at System/Admin/Hardware Drivers but there are none in use on my system so I would need instructions to install the correct driver for my machine. Here is my card

So please I need to know how to install and configure the correct driver so I can use my svideo out cable to use dual monitor and watch things on my TV. Thanks in advance
