[admin@server ~]$ sudo /root/script.sh
audit_log_user_command(): Connection refused
And I have made the changes to sudoers through visudo which should allow this user access to the bash file:
[root@server]# visudo
added line:
admin ALL=NOPASSWD:/root/script.
This seems like a fairly common problem, as posted here, for example:

Is this an underlying problem with the Centos kernel (e.g. CONFIG_AUDIT not installed) or perhaps the sudo package itself? I tried to upgrade sudo from yum and but all was up to date, to no action required. I could however, try uninstalling the rpm package and install from a newer source. I am using Sudo version 1.6.9p17 on Centos 5.3 .
My server is hosted with mediatemple.net, on their Dedicated Virtual (DV) plan, and don't think they allow any kernel level customizations.
Any advice? Many thanks.
