The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Nagios Error: Host Status Information Not Found!

Hi experts -

                I have an other question open and which I am using at as a reference for doing my work currently. while doing my work  I got the follwoing error.
some time I get
Host State Information
This host has not yet been checked, so status information is not available.
and some times I get
Error: Host Status Information Not Found!

Not able to find why it is happening. Following is the info from nagios.log

and also
nrpe.cfg on the postgresbox has the following un commented

command[check_users]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_users -w 5 -c 10
command[check_load]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_load -w 15,10,5 -c 30,25,20
command[check_hda1]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_disk -w 20% -c 10% -p /dev/hda1
command[check_zombie_procs]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_procs -w 5 -c 10 -s Z
command[check_total_procs]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_procs -w 150 -c 200

[1253284798] Warning: Check result queue contained results for host 'postgresbox', but the host could not be found!  Perhaps you forgot to define the host in your config files?
