Asked by richsark in Linux, Red Hat Linux, Linux Setup
HI,
I need your help. :)
I have an ISO that contains an image of Redhat 5.2 Enterprise server that was packaged with a ks.cfg file. My server does not have a cdrom. I bought a Kingston 8 GB usd drive.
Can someone help me get that ISO image extracted and put on my USB stick so I can boot of of it so I can install Redhat 5.?
I did the simplest thing, burned the ISO image to a cdrom, and copied all the contents from the cdrom to my USB drive. When I inserted it to my server and booted it, I get an error invalid partition or not a valid boot image.
I did set the bios to boot of the USB .
Please help !
