Install Joomla on Xampp CentOS Linux?
What is the series of steps/commands to install Joomla (3.3) on the Xampp (1.8.3-5)? on the CentOS (7.0?)
Previously a user walked me through all the steps and command to install Xampp, just looking for something similiar to get Joomla installed as well. Almost done!
Thank you so much,

I am logged in as root and remember doing the same 2 steps to install Xampp.
However when I try to install the 64bit installer, I get 2 errors:
line 1: syntax error near unexpected token 'newline'
line 1: '<DOCTYPE html>'
Any advice?

Hi Gary,
I am trying to install again on a new server (almost same as the old). Have the newest Xampp installed on
CentOS 7.
When I try to run those 2 commands, nothing happens. I am logged in a root and even placed the Joomla module installer in the root directory. So far nothing works.
