Browse All Topics Boy, did I screw up. I installed RedHat 6.0 on my PC, along side Win98. I used a 1997 version of System Commander to set up the linux install (with Lilo). On re-boot, Linux was my only option and the Commander menu was non-existant, as was any hint of a C drive or a Windows partition.
Trying to remedy the Commander vs. Lilo conflict, I disabled Commander. Now, however, I can't boot into Anything and I can't enable Commander because I'm told there is no MBR.
I'm unable to boot from the Win98 CD and when I boot from the Commander disk, the only DOS feature I have is the A: drive (No DOS tools).
Please tell me I don't have to reinstall everything.
How can I regain duo-boot capability??
If I (Have) to reinstall, how do I clear the hard drive since the CD drive (which can be booted from) is not being recognized?
