Hey paullamhkg,
Just a thought to your situation, you could take another system, and run a Xwindows server client on it, and do an install while porting the display to that sytem. This way if you don't have X windows working on the system that you are installing Oracle on, you could just tell the executable to point the display over to the machine that does. If you are doing this from a Windows system, you could get Cygwin's XFree86 implementation of it and SSH to the Redhat box and forward the display back to your windows or whatever box.
Just a thought.

I have tried install oracle in RH9.0 and you must have the Xwindows up and running, if not you can't install. But due to my budget I can have the oracle in my office :(
