How do I Change Default Boot Order in GRUB?

Asked by anuneznyc in Linux Setup, Blackberry Operating System

Tags: GNU, GRUB

I recently installed Ubuntu 7.10 LInux on my Toshiba laptop that came with Win XP Home SP2. I had Ubuntu install itself  in a separate partition so that it would leave my XP partition intact and allow me to dual-boot b/t the two OSes.

When I power up the laptop, it comes to the GRUB boot loader screen where I can select which OS to boot from. The default at the top of the list is Ubuntu. I would like to change this so that Win XP Home is the default OS to boot.Start Free Trial
