Cacti rpath appliance "Invalid Email Address" in the setup

I'm loading Cacti using rpath appliance, iso for testing. I have run through the setup and I'm at the point of entering the notification email address and regardless of what I put in, it says "Invaid Email Address:[object]". I cannot move forward in the setup, cannot reset and I tried reloading from scratch and I get the same error. Any suggestions?
