where can I download JDK 6 for Linux RedHat?

Hello,

where can I get version 6 of JDK? I need it to install Shibboleth.

I'm running following command for jre and java and I get following resutls:

1) Does this mean java is installed?
2) I am planning to install shibboleth and one of its requriements is Java 1.5+
should I assume this is met? or something left?



# rpm -qa | grep -E 'jre'
jre-1.6.0_16-fcs



# rpm -qa | grep -E 'java'
java-1.4.2-gcj-compat-1.4.2.0-40jpp.115
gcc-java-4.1.2-46.el5

Looks like there's a JRE version 1.6 installed, you could run: java -version to check if the path is correctly configured
