Alternative driver for Brother printer
Hi
One of my clients uses an app distributed By an ASP using Citrix Xen
His XP station uses the Citrix client and Thinprint.
Hi printer, a Brother MFC 7320, when printing from this app, prints blank pages.
The ASP stated two years ago that his app wasn't 'compatible' with Brother's printers.
Funnily enough a windows test page sent from the Citrix Windows session prints properly on the Brother printer.
Is there an alternative compatible driver that I could install e.g. HP Laserjet, Canon, Xeroe, generic, etc that will work properly with Brother laser printers, and thus be compatible with the ASP's app ?
Thanks for reading

At least we know where we stand
I tried to use PrimoPDF as a workaround but the local PDF agent didn't 'receive' the job.
I'll hunt around for a compatible PDF solution

You might be able to fix it by changing the access rights for users on the server (try giving 'Everyone' permissions to Print and Manage Documents on the Brother). But if the ASP has flagged up that their product doesn't work with Brother printers two years ago I'd have expected them to have found a workaround for their customers by now & if they haven't it's because there isn't one that is robust enough and you should be using a different manufacturer.
