The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution.   • The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. ntfs dos?

hi

i just got a new pc with xp home (ntfs file system)

i have never really worked in Dos but i know just a little

how can i boot my pc directly into Dos without starting windows?
and how do i know i really have Dos and not just a Dos emulator?

i have command.com and cmd.exe in my System32 folder
maybe that will help

what is the difference between command.com and cmd.exe?

i'm just trying to get some knowledge of Dos
and would like to work in it outside of windows

also, how can i make Dos play this mp3 called "She Said"
