Really?
I thought I was the only one with that difficulty using BartPE. After I tried BartPE I just concluded Knoppix was better for it.

Does anyone here use bart's boot disk? If so... I have a question. The disk has worked wonders for me across all different operating systems. However I am now trying to use it to ghost images to a linksys network attached storage device and I am unable to use the net use command. I can ping the device by name and IP (I had to amend the host/lmhosts files), but cannot use the net use command to map a drive.
When using a command prompt in Windows XP, I have no problem mapping to this device. I tried replacing just the command.com file but it did not work. And although I know my dos commands, I'm no DOS expert and I'm not really sure what files need to be replaced to upgrade this boot disk.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

When you're in the bartpe environment, make sure that network support is turned on.
Go > System > Network > Load Network and Filesharing support.
Then try the net use command. also make sure the drivers for your network card have been included in the bartpe cd.
