Removing Space with in batch file

Hi,

I have created one batch file that will basically create one file with the name ping & Current date.txt.

The problem is it sets the file name as "ping11222005 .txt". I just want to remove the space after the year.

Here is the code:

Set CURRDATE=%TEMP%\CURRDATE.TMP
DATE /T > %CURRDATE%
Set PARSEARG="eol=; tokens=1,2,3* delims=/, "
For /F %PARSEARG% %%i in (%CURRDATE%) Do Set MMDDYY=%%j%%k%%l
ping google.com >>"PING%MMDDYY%.txt"
