Count records from text document using batch file

Hi,

I have a file that I would like to append the count of the number of records at the top using a batch command.

e.g.
Details.txt
123345 John Mason
123234 Fred Dickson

I would like to change the Details.txt file to have

Count = 2
123345 John Mason
123234 Fred Dickson

and got below solution

echo off
setlocal
set myfile=c:\details.txt
set newfile=c:\new-details.txt
for /f "tokens=1" %%y in ('type %myfile%') do set /a r=r+1
echo count = %r% >%newfile%
