Yes it sounds like the font size or font is set to something very small.
Does cmd.exe itself open normally btw?

Browse All Topicsi have a workstation that had a DOS program on it it.
this is part of a network. it worked fine until i did the following.
i have a new user that is using this machine and DOS program.
i have the users profile setup with their profile path on the server like \\server\users\jenn
i then created a short cut to the DOS program located on C:\Program Files\DOS1
the user can open it and run it, but it is so small it is hard to read and it will not maximize even when i click on the maximize in the window.
any suggestions? i am lost on this one.
operating system is Windows XP Pro Svc Pk 3

Make sure the DOS window is the active window and try ALT-<ENTER>. It should toggle it to full screen.
Also, click the upper left icon and go properties. You should have access to some display properties there...
