SID error

Asked by NBaebler in Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows XP Operating System, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems

Hello, I currently have a huge dilema again.  I have tried my hand at ghosting for 6 new computers I deployed using Symantecs new ghost 11.0.  When I Imaged over the file I had to unjoin and rejoin the computers to the domain.  No big deal, but now they do not show up in WSUS and I have to believe it is because the SID copied over and now there are 6 computers with the identical sid and WSUS only recognizes the first one.  My question is, Is there anyway to change the users SID without having to go back and re image the computers?  The computers did have vista on them and I cloned them to have XP on.Start Free Trial
