Simple question how do you copy user profiles in Vista?
Typically in Windows XP you would go to System Properties then to the Advanced tab and user profiles. From there you could launch a utility to copy a users profile.
Typically I would log into a users new account to create the initial directories under documents and settings and then use this utility to copy their old accounts data tot he new account.
In Vista user accounts have been moved from documents and setting to a users folder. I figure that it would work the same way and you could point the data to one of these folders however this does not seem to work. Is there something I am missing? Has anyone done this sucessfully?
