DFS Root replication

Asked by Network_Data_Support in Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft Server

Tags: dfs, root, server

last night i replaced our second DC with a new server and all is working fine apart from now i have no DFS root folder. the DC name and ip is exacly the same as the old server and in DFS management i can see that the DC is still a namespace server.

if i browse to the namespace \\SRVDC03\accounts for example it works fine but if i browse the server in DFS management it says that there is no namespaces avalible?

what i would like to know is can i replicate the DFS root from the PDC  to the BDC?  as it seems to be the only thing that has not replicated  since the change.

thanks in advance for any adviceStart Free Trial
